Why we are a good choice for yoga beginners

Right Teachers

We select our teachers for their experience in teaching to mixed ability classes. They all have a strong track record in teaching groups as well as one on one tuition.

A large part of yoga is mental. You will be asking your body to do moves that it has no muscle memory of. Your brain will be telling you it is impossible or that you will surely fall over. This is where the teacher's experience really kicks in.

They will be able to guide you through the steps that get your brain and body comfortable moving into the pose. But one technique will not work for everyone so having the depth of experience to know different approaches to the same pose is vital.

Right Amount of Yoga

Most beginners will have been to one hour classes from time to time. The thought of going to daily classes can seem daunting.

We have very carefully chosen daily classes of two hours. In our experience it is the right amount to challenge but not overwhelm.

At around day three yours legs will feel lighter and the two hour class will pass in no time. After yoga finishes at ten o'clock the rest of the day is yours to do with it whatever you please.

Our minimum stay is only three nights and you can come and go any day of the week. So why not try it out for a weekend break?

Right Atmosphere

For so many of our guests it was their first yoga holiday and many of them have returned several times since.

The atmosphere is very relaxed with no restrictions or judgement on what you eat, drink, or how you choose to spend the rest of your day.

You'll notice this welcoming and non-judgmental attitude in the yoga classes too as our guests are encouraging each other rather than competing.

Our hope is that each of our guests is able to improve their own practice, even if it's just a little each day, and whilst they may have different skill-levels and different goals, what they have in common is that they are all trying to do something worthwhile for themselves.
